Junior cricket at PDCC (under 18)
Perth Doo’cot Cricket Club runs a thriving juniors section comprising several teams, open to both girls and boys. Coaching takes place on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to at least 8pm (with registration from 6.15pm) and runs for the entire summer – from late April through to late August.
We field U-12, U-14 and U-16 teams in the respective Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union (SPCU) leagues, and we also have U-14 and U-16 teams competing in the Scottish Cup competitions as well as U-13 and U-15 sides in the ECB Vitality Cup competitions.
For younger players, we also offer All Stars Cricket on Monday evenings. All Stars is a fun eight-week programme designed to introduce children aged 5 to 8 to the game. The 2023 programme will kick off on Monday 8 May. You’ll find more information about All Stars here.
Our coaches all possess ECB/Cricket Scotland coaching certificates and have undergone the requisite child protection procedures.
The annual subscription fee is £50 per head (£80 for two children and an additional £20 for every child thereafter). These fees cover the whole summer. Anyone registering their child for All Stars – for which a fee of £40 is payable to the ECB upon registration – will NOT be charged an annual subscription fee by us. You only pay once!
