Welcome to the website of Perth Doo'cot Cricket Club and the 2014 cricket season.
We run three weekend league teams. The first XI will compete in the first year of the Cricket Scotland North East Championship whilst the second XI will again take part in the first division of the Strathmore & Perthshire Union and the third XI in Division 2 (South) of that league. We will also have a midweek team playing friendlies and various junior teams so all standards are covered. New members are always welcome, with senior training taking place on Tuesdays at the ground 6.00-8.30pm.
Junior Training takes place on a Monday night 6.30-8.00pm from 28th April and all those aged 7-15 are welcome.
The club is also a member of PACES, Perth & Kinross Council's club accreditation scheme, recognising PDCC as a safe and well structured club with the appropriate policies in place.

2's V St Modans 23/8/14

The club is delighted to announce James McEwan & Son as the inaugural main sponsor of Perth Doo'cot Cricket Club. For such a renowned and established Fair City business, to support one of the city's newest ventures is much appreciated by all at the club.
Caledonia Dental Care have kindly sponsored the clubs' Junior Summer Camp and harball section.

Also on board are SIDEY of Feus Road as sponsors of our Under 10 Kwik Cricket team.

@GlenrothesCC Disappointed to read that one of our U15s has been 'signed up'. Wish him well, but a call about this would have been good.

Season Draws to a Close
The first and second teams have completed their league games for 2014. The first team finished second to a Meigle team who deservedly won the league, and the seconds are keeping their fingers crossed as they sit 3rd bottom in the table with bottom team St Modans playing their final game this weekend. Importantly they secured sufficient points in last weeks defeat to St Modans to climb above St Andrews Uni staff, which hopefully will secure Division One status for 2015.
The Third team play 3 final games including a double header this weekend against Glendelvine and Callander.
jamie Koo decided to celebrate the end of the season with an Ice Bucket Challenge before the players headed into the fair city for more liquid refreshment on the players end of season social.
